On behalf of the Center for Faith and Science International (CFSI), I’d like to thank you for taking the time to visit our new web site. We view this site as our portal to the world and we sincerely look forward to a free exchange of ideas and perspectives relative to faith and science.

Many people, young and old alike, struggle with perceived conflicts between their core religious beliefs and recent discoveries of science. Such conflict seems to be more pronounced within high school and college aged students tasked with balancing empirical scientific findings presented in the classroom versus Church teachings and God’s written word, the Bible.

The means and mechanisms of creation that are taught in many Christian homes and churches seem to be contradictory to what students are being taught as proven science within higher education classrooms. An individual’s view of origins and how man came to acquire his present form and intellect is fundamental to his view of the world and how it functions. Thanks to an ever accelerating pace of scientific exploration and discovery, we continue to unravel the wonders of our universe including the complex sub-cellular mechanisms of life. While these discoveries may enhance our understanding of origins and the process of creation, many people are convinced that empirical discoveries are further polarizing faith from science. The Center seeks to explore the various perspectives on how God created His universe and all life existing within it. Moreover, CFSI fosters constructive dialogue among those who hold to these perspectives. The Center for Faith and Science adheres to the premise of dual revelation whereby God reveals himself through His written Word (Scripture) as well as through the observable created world around us, through science. We do not believe it is reasonable that one form of God’s revelation would contradict or prove the other to be false. Rather, it is the human interpretation of these revelations that tends to foster discord.

The not for profit Center for Faith and Science was formed to assist teachers, pastors, parents, and of course students in carefully examining the strengths and weaknesses associated with all major perspectives associated with the creation and development of life on earth. The Center strives to provide unbiased information and evidential data on the possible processes God may have employed in creation as revealed in Genesis and the observable universe around us. While CFSI acknowledges interpretive differences on “how” life on earth came to be, the Center will not waver on the cause of the universe – that it was intentionally created by an omnipotent entity operating outside the bounds of space, time, and all physical laws known to man.

The Center for Faith and Science International is a space ship poised for a mission of exploration into the realms of the unseen (faith) as well as the observable marvels of our universe (science). We invite and encourage you to hop aboard and join us on this journey of discovery. We will fervently pursue the true wonders of God’s creation as we seek to better understand that which He has revealed to us.
